Mafia Wars Italy – Defeating Bosses on Ruby Level
Nov/100
If you are having problems defeating the bosses on Ruby level in Mafia Wars Italy here is a solution that just might help out.
I cannot claim any credit for this solution, it was posted by Jar-Jar on Mafia Wars Wikia, so all cudos go to him.
“If you find the bosses in ruby to be impossible, try the following;
1.Open MW in two tabs on your browser.
2.Start the fight in the 1st tab. Attack henchmen until you are left with little health (and can’t attack again without dying).
3.Go to 2nd tab, travel to New York and heal yourself.
4.Back to 1st tab and attack once more. You’ll notice that when you click “attack” your health will be maxed and then fall again to where it was.
5.Keep doing 3&4 until henchmen are dead. Now you are left with the boss ;)
6.Ask for help from a LOW LEVEL FRIEND WITH AT LEAST 1 GRENADE. Don’t leave the fight window!!!!
7.When your friend steps in to help you, the boss’s health will immediately drop(!!!). Actually, the lower your friend’s level, the more it will drop. Now, what your friend has to do, is throw at least 1 grenade to the boss and then attack until the boss kills him (a really heroic friend!).
8.After your friend has made his attack, go through steps 3&4 again. You will see now that the boss’s health has dropped dramatically (poor boss).
9.Continue with steps 3&4, using all your consumables in between, until you kill the boss!
ps. when left with the boss alone, you have to be really careful not to leave the fight tab for too long, or he will regain his health. So what you have to do is attack him, then wait on the fight tab for 50-60 seconds and then QUICKLY go to 2nd tab, click “travel to NY”(although you already appear to be there), heal and then go back to 1st tab for another attack. Let me know if this worked for you too, or if you have any questions. ;) “
I have not tried the is solution personally so I cannot vouch for its effectiveness

Mafia Wars Italy – Consumables

Consumables have been a huge part of the Mafia Wars experience since the day that the game went live and the tradition continues in Mafia Wars Italy.
Our break down of the consumables in Mafia Wars Italy will give you the ability to farm them efficiently and complete regions as quickly as possible.

Mafia Wars Italy – Animal Loot
Nov/100
To be honest I have never been a big fan of adding animals to the Mafia Wars Experience, if I want to be a zoo keeper I will go play some other game. However, animals have added another dimension to the game and give collectors something else to add to their collections.
Here are the animals that are loose in Mafia Wars Italy along with their stats and where they can be found.

Asino – Yes friends this is a donkey, the only things missing are a big green ogre with a Scottish accent and Eddie Murphy
Italian Wolf – Semi uncommon
Gallo – A chicken with a 37 defense, maybe we can pack them up and send them to Bangkok for the Cock Fighting Pen.
Goshawk – A bird of prey found in Palermo and Napoli.
Man-o-War – It mystifies me as to how you would keep this thing as a pet. You guys can have the fish I will stick to the band.
Eagle Owl – Rumor has it that these animals can be found by winning tournaments in Las Vegas as well as other locations.
Marsican Brown Bear – Nice animal over all.
Cinghaile – its PUMBA!
Meadow Viper – It’s a snake with attitude, at least on the attack front.
I don’t know about you guys but I find animals to be less than “mafia like.” Some how I cannot imagine showing up to a throw down with a small zoo in trailers behind my mafia, but each to their own.
Mafia Wars – Vehicle Loot
Nov/100
In Mafia Wars Italy, like the other expansion there are some pretty sweet vehicles. You will find working vehicles as well as some very nice high performance cars.
Here is a break down of the vehicle loot that is found in Mafia Wars Italy.

Tradire – A great looking car with stats that do not measure up to its visual value. It looks a lot like a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo.
Cavalletta – Can anyone say Chevy Aveo? Hardly a gangster’s car and has stats to prove it.
Water Taxi – Working vehicle and a work-horse in many Italian cities.
Luxury Sailboat – Sailboat? Don’t gangsters favor power-boats? I do! Unless it’s a floating brothel, casino, or HQ I want a fossil fuel guzzling monster.
Avanti Tutta – For some reason the graphic looks like a car that might be seen on an old Scooby Doo cartoon.
Fenzi Tuomo – Humm, nice graphic and a decent attack value, maybe I will become a motorcycle gangster.
Mafia Wars Italy – Armor Loot
Nov/100
In every stage of Mafia Wars, armor is an important part of the game. If your mafia is without decent armor you can expect to lose many fights. In the game there is ok armor, good armor, and great armor but in a pinch any armor is better than none.
When Zynga released the Mafia Wars Italy expansion they carried on the tradition of giving us some very nice new equipment to play with. Today you will find a list of the armor of Italy, broken down so you can compare the stats and learn where to get the best.

Scutum – The Scutum is actually a shield used by the Roman Army around 700 BC. Unless you are putting this thing on the wall for a decoration its really useless. People quit using metal armor and shields when they discovered that bullets aren’t impressed by it.
Elmo Della Grande Guerra – Another hold over from the past. This item is actually a helmet from the World War I era. With stats that are less than impressive and complete lack of functionality in modern day one might wonder what the gang at Zynga was thinking when they put out something like this.
Teppista – This translates into thug, hoodlum, or hooligan. Basically this is hired muscle with less than stellar defensive capability.
Neoprene Vest – Armor with decent stats, though I have never thought of neoprene as offensive.
Maglietta – Literal translation from Italian to English is “T-Shirt.”
Pulcinella – This item can be found from jobs, fights, and secret stash. Pulcinella are clowns or street performers in Italy.
Corpo Amatura – Good attack based armor even if it is a hold over from the ancient past. It seems that this item drops all over when fighting with reports stating that they have gotten it in New York, Cuba and other expansion zones.
Mafia Wars Italy – Weapon Loot
Nov/101
In every expansion Zynga has given us brand spanking new toys to play with and the Mafia Wars Italy expansion is no different. Like all expansions and the original game itself some of the weapons are nothing to write home about but there are a few that might rank right up there with the top weapons in the game.
Here is our break down of the Italian weapons along with their stats and where they can be found.

Arma Di Ordinanza – A mafia wars weapon based on the Baretta M12 SMG.
Vachelli CP – Seems to be a rare item in Mafia Wars Italy. Players have stated that they have completed all 4 levels of Roma without getting one, a bug perhaps?
Doppietta – A long gun which may possibly be based on the SVT-40, M1A1 Carbine, or Mosin-Nagant Rifle.
Rapier – Sword that has been around for centuries. What was that old saying …Never bring a sword to a gun fight?
Venetian Blinder – A grenade style weapon that may be rare in Italy too. One player reported that he has taken all 5 regions to Ruby status and has yet to find one.
Diavolo Piccolo SMG – It seems that this item is more prevalent from fights than missions.
Milano Foil – Another bladed weapon. In my opinion bladed weapons are mostly useless, give me a big bore semi-automatic any day.
Tirapugni – Decent defensive weapon and from the picture looks odd since the weapon fires with the target cartridge in the bottom position on the cylinder.
Mafia Wars Italy Properties – Resort
Oct/101
Cold drinks buy the pool, gambling in the casino, and money in the back room, you gotta love owning a resort. Zynga set you up in Mafia Wars Italy with some nice rackets…er, I mean businesses, and the last of them is the Resort.
