I have been getting a number of questions asking if I have any information on the Mafia Wars Secret Stash. While I do not know a great deal about it I am happy to share what I do know.

• The Secret Stash appears randomly after completing a job or winning a fight.
• When you find a Secret Stash you will be allowed to pick from a choice of three items.
• After you have chosen your reward you can share the stash with up to 5 of your friends.
• You can open Secret Stashes that are sent to you by friends.
• You can only open a total of 10 per day.
• There are two types of Secret Stash, jobs and fights.
• Only one person can open a stash found in a fight.

Types of loot

While I do not know the exact loot that is available (I honestly don’t think anyone does), I can tell you that the types are given away by the various news feed icons. The ones I have seen so far include:

• job loot
• collection items
• Bonuses
• Weapons
• Armor
• Vehicles

The only thing that I do not remember seeing is the animal category.

Like I said I don’t know a lot about the Secret Stash, but I will post more as I learn more.
