If you have played Mafia Wars for any length of time you know that there are many achievements that you can accomplish within the game. Some are so easy that you do not even have to think about it, others are a bit more difficult, and some are very difficult. Then there is one that is literally a pain in the butt.  The achievement that I am talking about is “That’s with a “T.”

To accomplish this achievement you must deposit $1 Trillion dollars in the bank in one fell swoop. The first time I tried this one I forgot about the bank’s cut and failed so do not forget. In order to accomplish the achievement you will need a total of $1,111,111,111,112 on hand to account for the bank’s 10% fee.

You might think that the best way to accomplish this is by purchasing huge amounts of real estate, but you would be wrong. Yes owning a few hundred Mega Casinos as well as loads of other properties will help but actually not the best way to go about it.

The easiest way to accomplish this achievement is by smacking around Agostino Cleto. This is the boss found in the Enforcer tier.

The reason that this boss is the key to completing That’s with a “T” is because he is the only boss or aspect of Mafia Wars that scales according to your cash on hand.

Here are a few examples.

Cash on Hand: $0
Risk: $0
Payout: $120,000

Cash on Hand: $500,000
Risk: $2,700
Payout: $120,000

Cash on Hand: $1,000,000
Risk: $5,400
Payout: $120,000

The payout seemed to stay the same until I had $1 Billion on hand. Note that it may have changed earlier but I didn’t check back until I had a Billion on hand

Cash on Hand: $1 Billion
Risk: $5,454,000
Payout: $1,818,000

Cash on Hand: $5 Billion
Risk: $27,054,000
Payout: $9,018,000

Cash on Hand: $10 Billion
Risk: $54,054,000
Payout: $18,018,000

Cash on Hand: $15 Billion
Risk: $81, 054,000
Payout: 27,018,000

As you can see from these examples the payout increases proportionately to the amount of cash you have on hand. Of course the amount that you risk increases as well, but that is the price you have to pay for smacking around a boss.

The costs involved in fighting Agostino Cleto other than monetary are a 16 mafia requirement, if you have a copy of the Ultimate Mafia Wars Leveling guide this will not be a problem since your mafia should be well into the thousands, and energy.

I am not saying that buying properties is a bad way to get this achievement accomplished, but doing a little wet work on a boss makes it so much easier and quicker.

    Hi there,

Thank you very much for this tip. I haven’t been up to speed to that level yet but I’m sure I it will come in handy when the time comes. I only just started with Mafia Wars a few weeks ago because all my friends are raving about it and now I’m hooked on it too but want to be better or at least get to where they are so I scavenge the internet for tips and tricks like yours.

    Thanks again.

    Alex.

Thanks so much Philip, with that tip I earned the achievement, half an hour after I read this article, after trying for weeks on end purchasing Mega Casinos and having them robbed! This is such a great blog!!!

    Question:

How do you propose managing the money in your account to keep building it up? Do you really want to keep 1 Trillion minus 1/2 of a percent in your wallet? When you bank it, you lose 10% off the top. How does this work: do the rewards get bigger as you risk more percentage-wise?

I usually don’t even bother banking the cash in New York, the max you’ll lose from loosing a fight is only $100,000 while if you bank 10 billion dollars you lose a billion which is the equivalent of losing 10,000 fights (which is probably not going to happen)

hahaha! just do jobs in boss Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don. if you ahve 1,300+ energy up it’s way much bigger amount to give than fight the boss. do the math pls.

fight Cleto with 15 billion cash in order to get a measly 15 million prize? That just does not add up… you would have to fight Cleto TENS OF THOUSANDS of times to get to 1 Trillion dollars.

The visiting Don job pays over 50 million – you would have to do this one third of the times you fought Cleto (which pays 15 million per billion) to get there.

    @GC
But once you keep on fighting, the payout increases also, so if you reach 100 billion, the payout will be 180 mil each. The visiting Don job has a fixed payout.

I think the payoff is 0.18% of your cash. So when you got a lot of cash on your hands it might get profitable, but I don’t remember if the energy cost scales too. But yeah the visiting don job is basically a better option until you’re already super rich (At level 300+ fighting the boss takes like 200 energy)

Things have been changing in Mafia Wars and with those in mind I must say that I agree. Once you complete New York cash has no real meaning. All it does is build so the easiest way is to complete the achievement is to sit on your cash until you have enough in the bank to cover the amount and the 10% bank cost, draw it out and re-deposit it. That may not be the most dramatic way but it is most definately the easiest.

If you had a payout of 180 mil (100 billion in account) then you would only have to fight 5556 times. This number will actually be less, as your account grows, but still not a quick shortcut. My cash flow on my real estate is 223 mil every hour. I’m going to sit on it.

Hey, that is completely wrong i’m sorry to say. The best way is to do the “make arrangements for a visiting don” job in the boss tier, Sure its hard to get too, but if you do the right job its not. It pays $57,500,000 every time you do the job, and only takes 35 energy, and gives 66 energy, not so bad, eh? there are better jobs, but this job is best for getting that achievement. So if you have 350 energy, do the job 10 times, you will get $575,000,000, and 660 experience. If you do cleto fights, you have to get money first, after that its good, but still not as good.

Thanks Dylan I am sure that everyone will be happy to hear that there is indeed a faster way.

Based on my level, I have to use 163 Energy to do the Cleto job at the moment. In order for the energy-to-money ratio to outdo the Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don job, I would need to have just under $160B in my account for the Cleto job to outdo the NY job. And then, you would have to do the Cleto job (not taking into account any outside money coming in, which there will be) 1079 times to build your account to the necessary $1,111,111,111,112 needed to hit this target. I have a hard time believing someone was able to just finish this job off in a half hour unless they were already relatively close to getting there.

Nevertheless, this tactic along with having money come in on top of this with whatever properties you have already bought (I would guess that no matter what, you should still buy as many Mafia Mikes as you can, as you earn that money back quick). A good combo to get you closer to the goal.

    @Dylan
The Cleto vs Don job has a cash break-even at 170 million (cash on hand) per (total) energy point.. do the division, if your low on cash do the Don job, if your close do the Don job (xp to energy ratio is better). if you’re well over then do the Cleto fight.

Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don Is more efficient guys!

    xp ratio is 1.971:1

    Xp cost 35 – xp gained 69

Assuming you have completed NEW YORK ( got golden throne and helicopter)

    payout $57.5m

xp ratio for Cleto is 1.401!!!

PLUS – there is no risk !!!!

Do the maths guys – you know it makes sense!!!

  20. pau
    7:54 pm on February 10th, 2010

Plow all your skill points into energy – then it is relatively easy to get energy 1000+

    so for example 1400 energy = 35 * 40

    payout = 57.5 * 40 = $2,300,000,000

No way man. Visiting Don is peanuts. You have to do the task 19 million times to get the “whats after T” acheivement.

On the other hand, your money is multiplied by ten with less than 1300 boss fights. If you don’t have much energy, it’s an advantage, as it costs 1/5 of your energy, and lower energy means lower recovery time.

With 370 energy and $400 billion, I am spending 74 per fight, earning about 700,000,000 per fight. That over 12 Visiting Dons.

    @The Chaz
I’ve done the math.. It’s a pain no matter how you go.

I don’t know where you’re getting your “energy per fight” from. Mine costs 523 energy per fight, with $120 Billion in the cash, and pays $203 million per fight. At around 2600 full energy.. with level refills, energy packs, and Top mafia bonuses.. I can maybe get 9000 energy points a day to play with. That’s around 17 fights ($3.5 Billion) a day… if I do NOTHING else. (yawn)

“Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don” costs 36 energy and pays $57 million. Using the same 9000 energy, on 250 ‘visits’, I’ll receive $14.25 Billion a day. (way better than fighting a boss)

Add this to the about $5.2 Billion I make from properties, It would take me over 57 more days to accomplish the achievement. (almost 2 months of doing the same boring job)

So, no thanks.. I’ll keep playing in Bangkok, looking forward to Las Vegas.. and let my properties coast me into a Trillion some time in October. Cheers!

I just checked for myself as i got fed up with this achievement aswell

with 1 trillion in bank and my current level 514, the job cost me 259 energy and bring 1906M (1.9B)

while the visit of a don bring 80.5M for 35 energy.

one way or the other it still gonna take loads of time to gather money, specially if you wanna go for 10T or 999T

i prolly get around to play with 2800 energy per day it’s like 10 fights of the boss, and expecting the amount don’t decrease the more you fight him. even with doing 12B a day it’s gonna take me 83 166 days :) which is 227 years.

Agree that Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don is the quickest way to this achievement. When I finished all the tiers in Moscow, Cuba, and Bangkok, I just started doing that job over and over. Also yields almost double experience so you can keep doing it all day (Just have to have the chain guns — I got rid of them to make more per hour). As far as keeping the cash on hand, as long as you exit from Moscow or Cuba, you won’t get fought in NY unless someone specifically finds you.

Under $230B cash, beter is “Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don”
If you have more than $230B fastest way is “Boss Fight – Confront Agostino Cleto”

    1. Visiting Don is const. and always you get 402 500 000 for 7 jobs, and 250 exp cost
    2. Bos Fight over 230B give you 414 000 000 for 1 jobs and 250 exp cost, and grow if you have more cash.
