Zynga introduced the Private Zoo to the Mafia Wars game on December 10, 2010. The Private Zoo is a non-cash generation property in New York. What it lacks in currency income is made up by providing you with animals that can boost your in game strength.

To set up your Private Zoo you will need the following building materials.

Aquarium
Big Cage
Bird Cage
Feeding Tough
Terrarium

Like other properties in the game you can increase the level of your Private Zoo by upgrading it. The cost of upgrades can be found below.

The Private Zoo produces animal feed which is used to produce animals. Another type of feed that you will need is called Exotic Feed. Exotic Feed is acquired by posting a part request or from gifting.
