The Chop Shop is the first Mafia Wars property that does not generate some form of cash, but who needs cash when you have hot cars. The Chop Shop was introduced on February 18^th 2010. In this article you will not only learn how the Chop Shop works, you will learn which vehicles you can build and exactly what the requirements are.

Getting Your Chop Shop Set Up

In order to get your Chop Shop up and running you will need to acquire 50 items.

• 10 Cement Blocks
• 10 Power Tools
• 10 Car Lift
• 10 Acetylene Torches
• 10 Shipping Containers

These items do not drop from jobs but there are two ways to get them. First you can get them through gifting. Having a large mafia is a big advantage here since you can have your shop set up very quickly. The Second way that you can get the items is to purchase them with Reward Points at a cost of 1 point per items. I don’t know about you but I can find better things to spend Reward Points on.

If you don’t have the items and have a decent sized mafia all it takes is sending out a request.

Up Grading Your Chop Shop

Once again you will not need any cash to upgrade. The cost of upgrading is in parts is listed below.

With the exception of the starting items you can find various parts by doing jobs and fighting other players.

Car parts are produced by your business every day. Collect them and use them to build the following vehicles.

You can also build unique cars based on the level of your Chop Shop.

The Chop Shop may be the first cash free business in Mafia Wars but it is definitely fun to build and grow. One can never have enough Vehicles.
