10 Million Fans and Counting

Zynga undoubtedly has one of the most popular games in the Social Networking world in their hit Mafia Wars. The company has won the loyalty of millions of players by providing a stable fun gaming environment and through timely expansions and many fan related events.

The milestone of 10 Million Fans is evidence that Mafia Wars has taken its place at the top of the social network gaming food chain. To become a fan one must complete a series of steps that give them fan status but with many game players not completing the process it is quite possible that the actual number of players may exceed 15 million or more.

In appreciation of the 10 Million-Fan milestone Zynga is showing their gratitude by offering a two-day fan appreciation holiday. On March 30 and 31 all players will enjoy the following benefits.

  • Double Mastery In All Cities

If you have been slacking in finishing up New York now is the time to get it done. Double Mastery will cut your completion time in half.

  • Higher Payout on Fights

All fights are giving 25% more experience. Stamina based characters should love this one.

  • FREE Limited Edition Loot

All players who participate in the appreciation event receive the “Heavy Hand.” This limited loot item is a 43 attack, 23 defense weapon.

Zynga has always made gaming fun for social network gamers and it looks like the trend is not going to come to an end anytime soon.

Mafia Wars And More – Express Your Opinion

Facebook is undoubtedly one of the most popular social networks today and you can play many fun and exciting games. Today I want to know what you think and which games you play.

A list of the most popular games on Facebook can be found at http://www.insidesocialgames.com/2009/08/03/the-top-25-facebook-games-for-august-2009/. Do you enjoy any of these games? If so which ones? Maybe there are other games that you like and would love to have more information about.

If you are like me you have become addicted to playing social network games. In my opinion social games are so popular because they do not require a monthly subscription fee such as World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Warhammer Online, or other MMOPRG (Massively Multi-player Online Games).

They also do not require the time commitment that is involved in many online games. Another attraction is that the games do not need to be installed on your computer. This makes if easy to play at work. Most employers will not allow any installed software on their computers so social games are the way to go.

Social networks give users the functionality of keeping in touch with friends and family as well as access to games and other applications that make life so much more fun.

If you play other Facebook games or even games on other social networks let me know which ones. The reason that I ask this is because I love to help others and am considering starting other blogs related to the social gaming phenomenon that is taking the world by storm. Give me you opinion and I may start a blog for your favorites games.

Leave your comments and suggest games that you would like to read about. When I set up new blogs I will be sure to tell you where you can find them.
